VEM Group History

From a classic producer of electrical motors involved in the development of the electrical motor since 1886, the combined company VEM has advanced to become a provider of systems and complete solutions. In its consolidated form the company supplies electrical drive equipment worldwide, comprising transformers, frequency converters and power converters together with motors with performance ranging from 0.06 kW to 42 MW for low and medium voltage. In keeping with the established expertise of the company and the extensive experience of its employees, complex modernisation projects are increasingly being undertaken, for example in rolling mills and tube rolling mills. In addition to automation and drive technology, these also encompass the feeding in and distribution of energy.

We Cooperate instead of Compete. Period.

Today, in the world, there is a big conflict between different competitors on different issues, and all information networks, news, newspapers, and even social networks on the Internet are a place for one competitor to show off another competitor.

Experience has shown us that pure competition, without considering win-win conditions and observing human ethics, has never led to real and lasting progress of any person or company. Therefore, we try to cooperate with all Canadian industry activists in an honest atmosphere.

Among our customers, there are senior managers who are responsible for important and strategic decisions, as well as experts and engineers who launch projects and factories, and we try to make both groups happy by providing engineering services and supplying industrial equipment.

Let’s keep in addition, another group of our customers are sales representatives or industrial goods dealers who safely offer our products in their marketing and sales network. We consider all industrial activists as our colleagues instead of competitors and we welcome new colleagues.

Rotary Academy Logo

From 2010 to today, the members of our technical team and sales engineering team have continuously collaborated with various projects. They have visited and inspected various factories, held numerous consultation meetings and held various educational seminars. They have also received valuable practical training during technical and international sales courses.

We decided to gradually provide our customers and colleagues with the summary of these experiences in different sections.

A valuable treasure of experience in the stages of design, production, delivery, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting and periodic services. We try to make these blogs useful and efficient both for experts and expert managers who work in Canadian industries today, and for students who are currently studying in schools and universities and in the future in various Canadian industries. They will play important roles. The contents of this academy will be gradually completed and updated, and in the future, it will be a great reference for information on rotary machines.
